Brief Bio
Shinberg has practiced architecture since 1971 and taught since 1978. Integration of the sciences of people drives them both, including his Beauty & Brains course. An overview is in his new book, People-Centered Architecture, with pragmatic approaches to architecture for practice and education.

At Catholic University in Washington, DC: Beauty & Brains, a graduate seminar (new course developer), the First Year Introduction to Architecture Studio (new course developer), On Drawing (new course developer), Introduction to Architectural Technology (course developer), Design Studios, from 1st Year through Thesis, contributing lectures to other classes, including the Department of Sociology and the School of Music, plus lectures for programs in Italy, Germany, and Brazil, as well as in the U.S.
