Mission statement

The Chapter Spain is made up of a team of researchers with PhDs in the discipline. Our main purposes are the following:

  1. To disseminate scientific knowledge on neuroarchitecture. To this end, we participate in activities to bring the discipline closer to the public.
  2. To train in the correct execution of neuroarchitecture (either experimental or based on scientific literature). To achieve this, we identify contrasting scientific evidence to avoid misunderstandings and counterproductive practices.
  3. To establish connections between the different stakeholders involved in the application of neuroarchitecture (researchers, architects, policy makers, etc.). In this way, we promote innovation and progress in neuroarchitecture in Spain.
  4. To promote the transfer of knowledge between academia and industry through appropriate vehicles for collaboration. In doing so, we promote architectural design supported by neuroscience.

In summary, we seek to generate and disseminate knowledge in neuroarchitecture that allows training professionals in the correct execution of the discipline and facilitates its application in the professional field. We hope to contribute to the advancement and consolidation of neuroarchitecture in Spain and internationally.
