Announcing a new Stanford University Continuing Studies Course open to all

Mon, Jan 26 - Mon, Mar 09, 2026 PDT Eve Edelstein PhD, Assoc AIA & Anita Honkanen, MD

This course, led by a Stanford clinician who helped guide the expansion of Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, and a neuroscientist with degrees in clinical neuroscience, architecture and anthropology, introduces how design influences physical health and mental function.

Drawing on cutting-edge research, we’ll examine the impact of light, sound, and spatial constructs. Expert-led discussions, video tours, and interactive sessions bring the material to life. Actionable strategies are described to reimagine homes, work, and community places.
