ANFA-related teaching expertise
For over the past 6 years I have been teaching NfA mostly for architects and designers. In my courses, I try to combine an integrated perspective of several NfA topics that could help architects and designers to improve their practice. My expertise involves a systemic understanding and a focus on connecting research and design practice (evidence-based design). Topics such as embodiment, lighting (artificial/natural/design), biophilia (nature, cognitive restoration and biophilic design), multisensory experience (sensory integration, coherence, perception), culture & affective memories, environmental enrichment and brain plasticity are some of the ones that I try do present to my students.
What I teach & Where I teach
Yes, at NeuroAU/University of Brasília; FAAP (Faculdade Armando Álvares Penteado); and FGV (Fundação Getulio Vargas)
