ANFA Policy on Sponsorship Categories and Joint Communications

There are three types of ANFA sponsorship available to companies or institutions wishing to contribute to our mission: Benefactors, Sponsors and Product Sponsors.

BENEFACTORS

ANFA Benefactors provide general support by contributing fully tax-deductible ‘unrestricted’ gifts, although the donor can indicate a preference that funds be utilized to, for example, subsidize student travel to ANFA conferences, or support development of educational and outreach materials (e.g., ANFAPEDIA, seminars, bootcamps, NfA reading lists, curriculum development, etc.). To retain the full tax-exempt status of these donations, ANFA can provide nothing of overt monetary value in exchange. However, ANFA can publicly acknowledge your contribution, for example, by posting it on the website, or presenting it at events, etc.

Benefactor gifts are defined as donation of any dollar amount over $500, but ANFA accepts and will acknowledge smaller donations as well.

SPONSORS

Conference sponsorship is one way companies and research groups can contribute to ANFA’s health by contributing a tax deductible addition to the cost of their tickets and memberships. Sponsors benefit from having their logo and brand on display in the program and at the opening and closing of the conference.

Platinum Sponsor $8,000 4 individual memberships + 4 free conference registrations

PRODUCT SPONSORS

Product sponsorship is geared toward companies that wish to promote the use of particular products or services related to ANFA’s Mission: furthering evidence-based design research and implementation, by disseminating knowledge and fostering collaboration. Sponsor products must be approved by ANFA’s Conference Committee in advance of the event. Please contact us at [email protected] for more information.

In addition to the tiered benefits outlined below, all Conference Sponsors may have their logo and brand printed in event programs and displayed at the opening and closing of the meeting, and all may participate in any networking events that take place.
There are two types of Product Sponsorship:

  • Product Display: $750 per day (includes one conference registration)

    Companies wishing to showcase their product in the lobby of the event venue may set up a table and distribute information throughout the day. Due to physical space limitations, these opportunities are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, and we ask that no large booths are employed.

  • Product Demonstration and Basic Training: $1,500 per session (includes two conference registrations)

    This excellent opportunity is for company participation in two new hands-on sessions offered at the 2023 ANFA Conference, to give a select group of attendees the opportunity to work with technologies suited to acquisition of data toward evidence-based design. These half-day sessions are offered to registrants at an additional cost and participation will be limited. Separate space will be provided to accommodate equipment set-up and use. Participants will have the chance to become familiar with the showcased technologies, which may reduce the “barrier to entry” when evaluating purchase options.

POLICY on use of email by ANFA affiliates

ANFA is willing to provide our constituency with information on upcoming events, provided that they promote ANFA’s Mission: furthering evidence-based design research and implementation, by disseminating knowledge and fostering collaboration. These events must be approved for posting and/or emailing in advance, by ANFA’s Executive Committee. The maximum number of notices per event is two, which must be a minimum of 40 days apart, in accordance with standards followed by many organizations with large mailing lists. All announcements must be in final form and be consistent with the proprietary formatting of Constant Contact software, to which we subscribe. Should you need to have ANFA staff adapt the document to our email system, the provider must reimburse us for that expense, at a cost of $30 per hour.
